Ingredients

  • 1 large roast
  • 1/2 c. flour
  • 2 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 jars whole mushrooms
  • 1 can cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 pkg. Lipton onion soup mix
  • 1 large onion, chopped
  • 3 to 4 Tbsp. oil

Directions

    Place oil in large skillet.

    While oil is heating, flour roast on both sides.

    When oil is hot, put roast in skillet and brown on both sides.

    Remove roast from skillet and place in roasting pan. Brown remaining flour in skillet and make brown gravy.

    Pour this over roast.

    Add Worcestershire sauce, mushrooms, mushroom soup, soup mix, chopped onion, salt and pepper.

    Cook in 375° oven for approximately 2 1/2 to 3 hours.
