Ingredients

  • 1 tsp. minced garlic
  • 1 can beef consomme
  • 3/4 c. lemon juice
  • 5 oz. soy sauce
  • 1 Tbsp. liquid smoke

Directions

    Mix together all ingredients.

    Marinate roast, brisket (up to 5 pounds) overnight.

    Roast in a covered pan approximately 1 hour per pound at 300° or in a crock-pot until tender.

    Vegetables cooked along with the meat are wonderful.
