- turkey
- 2 large chicken bouillon cubes
- 1 large onion
- 3 to 4 stalks celery
- 3 to 4 raw carrots
- seasoned salt or lemon and pepper
- paprika
- melted butter or a couple slices smoked bacon
Directions

1Clean inside and outside of turkey.

2Drain bird.

3Inside the cavity place bouillon cubes, onion, celery and carrots.

4After the bird is cooked these can be discarded.

5On the outside of bird sprinkle seasoned salt or lemon and pepper, paprika or melted butter.

6Or you can lay on a couple of slices of smoked bacon. Add 2 cups water to pan.

7Roast at 350° for 30 to 40 minutes per pound.

8Roast at 325° for a larger bird and also a bit longer.
