  • turkey
  • 2 large chicken bouillon cubes
  • 1 large onion
  • 3 to 4 stalks celery
  • 3 to 4 raw carrots
  • seasoned salt or lemon and pepper
  • paprika
  • melted butter or a couple slices smoked bacon

Directions

    Clean inside and outside of turkey.

    Drain bird.
  3. 3
    Inside the cavity place bouillon cubes, onion, celery and carrots.

    After the bird is cooked these can be discarded.

    On the outside of bird sprinkle seasoned salt or lemon and pepper, paprika or melted butter.

    Or you can lay on a couple of slices of smoked bacon. Add 2 cups water to pan.

    Roast at 350° for 30 to 40 minutes per pound.

    Roast at 325° for a larger bird and also a bit longer.
