  • 1 pkg. semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 1/2 c. butter
  • 1 c. sugar
  • 1/2 tsp. vanilla
  • 1 1/2 c. flour
  • 1/2 tsp. baking powder
  • 2 eggs
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1 c. chopped pecans
  • 4 doz. miniature marshmallows

    Heat oven to 400°. Melt 1/2 cup of the chocolate chips and butter over low heat; cool. Mix remaining chocolate chips, eggs, sugar, flour, baking powder, salt, vanilla, nuts and chocolate mixture. Drop dough by rounded teaspoonfuls 2-inches apart onto ungreased cookie sheet. Press marshmallows into center of each. Bake for 8 minutes. Makes 4 dozen.
