  • 1 lb. round steak
  • 1/4 c. flour
  • 3/4 c. dry bread crumbs
  • 3 Tbsp. butter, melted
  • 2 Tbsp. chopped onion
  • 1 Tbsp. parsley flakes
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1 small can button mushrooms

    Wipe steak and sprinkle with flour.

    Pound extra flour into steak.

    Mix other ingredients and spread on steak, keeping mixture 1-inch from edge to prevent squeezing out.

    Roll steak, tie securely and roast in a slow oven (300° to 350°) for about 2 1/2 hours.
