- 4 c. boiling water
- 4 lb. butter or margarine
- 4 Tbsp. vanilla
- 3 lb. flour
- 2 Tbsp. baking powder
- 4 Tbsp. soda
- 5 c. rolled wheat
- 24 eggs
- 6 lb. sugar
- 4 c. cocoa
- 4 Tbsp. salt
Directions

1Pour boiling water over rolled wheat in mixer bowl.

2Let stand 2 minutes.

3Add butter, eggs and vanilla. Mix 2 minutes at low speed.

4Thoroughly blend dry ingredients.

5Add to rolled wheat mixture.

6Mix 2 minutes. Pour into 3 buttered pans (12 x 20 x 2 1/2-inches).

7Bake 25 to 30 minutes at 350°.
