- 2 c. warm water
- 1/2 c. sugar
- 6 1/2 to 7 c. flour
- 1/3 c. cooking oil
- 2 pkg. dry yeast
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1 egg
Directions

1Put water in large mixing bowl.

2Sprinkle yeast on top of water and let dissolve.

3Add sugar, salt and about half the flour. Beat for 2 minutes.

4Add egg and shortening.

5Gradually add remaining flour.

6Cover with a damp cloth.

7Put in refrigerator. Will keep a week or let rise and make rolls.

8Bake at 400° until golden brown.
