- 2 pkg. yeast
- 1 c. lukewarm water
- 1 c. boiling water
- 1 c. white vegetable shortening
- 2 eggs, beaten
- 1/2 c. sugar
- 6 c. flour
- 2 tsp. salt
Directions

1Dissolve

3in lukewarm water.

4Pour boiling water over shortening.

5When cool add to the yeast mixture; then add eggs and sugar.

6Sift flour and salt together and add to first mixture. Mix

7in flour until dough is stiff but still sticky. Turn

8dough out on lightly floured surface; knead just enough to handle

10back into bowl that has been greased. Brush

12with melted shortening.

13Cover and let rise until double.

14Make into favorite shape rolls and let rise again.
