Ingredients

  • 1 pkg. yeast
  • 1/4 c. sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 1/2 c. boiling water
  • 1/2 c. margarine
  • 7/8 c. cold water
  • 3 1/2 c. sifted plain flour

Directions

    Preheat oven to 450°.

    Put yeast in 7/8 cup cold water to dissolve.

    Set aside.

    Place butter, sugar and salt in large bowl. Add remaining water and stir until butter melts.

    Let cool, then stir in yeast.

    Add flour a little at a time.

    Beat egg and add. Stir into mixture well.

    Let set in refrigerator overnight.

    Take out and make 2 hours before cooking.

    Bake at 450°.
