  • 1 pkg. dry yeast
  • 2 Tbsp. warm water
  • 2 c. warm water
  • 3/4 c. Crisco oil
  • 4 c. self-rising flour
  • 1/4 c. sugar
  • 1 egg
  • pinch of salt

Directions

    Dissolve yeast in 2 tablespoons warm water.

    Beat egg and add all other ingredients.

    Mix well, then add yeast and water to mixture.

    Pour in greased muffin pan.

    Bake at 400° for 20 minutes.

    Refrigerate and use as needed.

    Keep tightly covered. Makes 20 rolls.
