- 1/4 c. bread crumbs
- 1/4 c. grated Romano cheese
- pinch of salt
- 1/4 tsp. pepper
- 1/8 tsp. oregano
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- oil (for deep frying)
- 4 large Idaho potatoes, peeled and cut into lengthwise strips
- 2 eggs, beaten
Directions

1Mix bread crumbs, cheese, salt, pepper, oregano and garlic. Heat oil to 375°.

2Dip potato strips into beaten eggs, then into bread crumb mixture.

3Fry until golden brown on all sides.

4Put in a baking dish and bake in a 350° oven for at least 30 minutes or until tender.

5Serve hot.
