Ingredients

  • 1 (16 oz.) can cranberry sauce (whole berries)
  • 1/3 c. sugar
  • 1 Tbsp. lemon juice
  • 1/4 tsp. cinnamon
  • 1/4 tsp. ginger (ground)
  • 6 fresh pears, pared, cored and quartered
  • 2 medium oranges, peeled, sliced and halved

Directions

    In saucepan, combine first 5 ingredients.

    Bring to boiling. Place pears and orange slices in 1 1/2-quart casserole.

    Pour cranberry mixture over fruit.

    Cover.

    Bake at 350° for 40 minutes or until pears are tender.

    Serve warm.
