- 8 beef round thin sandwich steaks
- 8 slices bacon
- dill pickles
- salt to taste
- pepper to taste
- chopped onions
- margarine
- flour
- approximately 1/2 c. whipping cream
- dash of sugar
- paprika
Directions

1Spread mustard on inside of steaks.

2Add bacon and pickles (cut in strips).

3Roll up and hold together with toothpick. Season with salt and pepper on outside.

4Slightly saute onions in skillet, using margarine.

5Add meat rolls; brown, uncovered, for 10 minutes.

6Cover and cook for about 1 1/2 hours, until nice and brown, adding water if necessary.

7Thicken drippings with flour. Add whipping cream, sugar, paprika and more salt and pepper to taste.

8Serve with potato dumplings or spaetzle and almond carrots (buttered carrots with parsley and slivered almonds).
