- boneless sirloin tip (2 lb.), sliced thin
- 1 or 2 large onions
- 1 c. water or wine
- 3/4 lb. bacon
- 3/4 c. beef bouillon
- salt and pepper to taste
Directions

1Pound steak 1/4-inch thick.

2Cut in half; season.

3Saute bacon until not quite crisp and chop.

4Dice onion; top each steak piece with bacon and onion and season.

5Roll up and fasten with toothpicks to hold.

6Brown rolls in margarine or canola oil until brown.

7Add bouillon and wine or water just to cover.

8Simmer gently 1 1/2 hours.

9Remove rolls and thicken gravy.
