- 5 large white potatoes
- 1 large tomato or more
- 1 green bell pepper
- 2 medium onions
- 1 1/2 sticks butter
- salt and pepper to taste
Directions

1Peel and slice potatoes into 1/2-inch thick slices.

2Slice tomatoes 1/2-inch thick.

3Seed and core pepper and slice into 1/2-inch slices.

4Slice onions.

5Layer potatoes, tomatoes, pepper and onions in greased 3-quart casserole (round is best).

6Dot casserole with butter and season to taste.

7Cover pan with aluminum foil and bake at least 1 hour at 325° or until potatoes are tender.
