Ingredients

  • 2 lb pastrami sliced
  • 1 can sauerkraut
  • 1 packages swiss cheese
  • 1 cup thousand island dressing
  • 1 loaf rye bread (I use Russian)
  • 1/4 stick butter

Directions

    On a low heated skillet, lay buttered slices of bread down, butter side down.

    Top each slice with pastrami sauerkraut and Thousand Island dressing.

    Then place a slice of Swiss cheese on each sandwich.

    Top with another slice of bread buttered on the outside.

    Turn up heat to medium/high.

    Grill sandwiches on one side until brown then carefully flip.

    Cook on each side until cheese is thoroughly melted and bread is golden brown.
