  • 2 1/2 c. sugar
  • 6 eggs
  • 1 c. sour cream (8 oz. carton)
  • 3 c. flour
  • 1/4 tsp. soda
  • 1/4 tsp. salt
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 1 tsp. almond extract

    Cream butter and sugar well.

    Add sour cream and flavorings; beat well.

    Add one egg at a time, beating well after each.

    Sift flour, salt and soda together and add to the first mixture; mix. Grease pan and bake in a moderate oven, about 350°, for approximately one hour or until toothpick inserted comes out clean.
