  • 2 c. vanilla wafer crumbs, rolled fine
  • 1 c. finely chopped coconut or pecan meat
  • 1 c. confectioners sugar
  • 2 Tbsp. white corn syrup
  • 1/2 or 1/3 c. rum, brandy or Cointreu
  • instant coffee or dry cocoa

Directions

    Measure all ingredients into a bowl; mix well.

    By teaspoonful shape into balls.

    Roll in confectioners sugar, instant coffee or dry cocoa.

    Store in a tightly covered container.

    Makes 50. Store at least a week to develop the best flavor.
