- 1 lb. thinly sliced bacon
- 1 (8 oz.) can water chestnuts
- 1/2 lb. chicken livers (about 20)
Directions

1Drain and cut chestnuts in halves.

2Rinse, drain and cut livers in half.

3Sprinkle bacon strips lightly with ground cloves and brown sugar.

4Place piece of liver and chestnut on one end. Roll and secure with toothpick.

5Arrange on microwave-safe plate and cover with paper towel.

6Microwave at High for 3 to 4 minutes. Rotate and microwave for an additional minute.
