  • 2 eggs, well beaten
  • 1/2 c. sour cream
  • 1 c. honey
  • 1/2 c. butter, melted
  • 2 c. sifted flour
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1/2 tsp. cream of tartar
  • 1/2 tsp. cardamon
  • 1/2 c. chopped nuts
  • 1/2 tsp. baking soda
  • 1/2 tsp. mace

Directions

    Blend thoroughly eggs, sour cream, honey and butter.

    Add sifted dry ingredients and mix well.

    Spread in a greased 15 x 10 x 1-inch pan and bake in a moderate oven at 350° for about 30 minutes.

    While still warm, glaze and sprinkle with nuts.
