- 1 lb. sweet butter
- 2 lb. pot cheese
- 2 eggs
- 1 lb. sour cream
- 1 Tbsp. vanilla extract
- 2 c. sugar
- 1/4 tsp. salt
Directions

1Put cheese through sieve into a large bowl.

2Mix eggs and sugar together in another bowl and then add to the cheese and mix. Place in a pan

3on the stove and heat, stirring constantly until the first bubbles appear.

4Take off the stove and allow to cool. Do not place in refrigerator.

5Line a clean, clay flowerpot with a double layer of cheesecloth after rinsing it with cold water. Pour in the cheese mixture.

6Fold over the ends of the cheesecloth, put a plate and weight of some kind, to force mixture to drain into a bowl placed below.

7Store in fridge for 1 1/2 days.

8Remove from pot and remove the cloth and enjoy eating it.
