  • 1 c. butter, softened
  • 1/2 c. powdered sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 2 1/2 c. flour
  • 1/8 tsp. salt

Directions

    Combine first four ingredients until creamed, then add flour and salt until mixture sticks together.

    Form into 1-inch balls and bake 10 to 12 minutes at 400° until set, but not brown.

    Roll in powdered sugar while warm, then roll again when cool.
