Sage Chocolate Sauce

Ingredients

  • 3/4 cup whipping cream
  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 6 ounces unsweetened chocolate, chopped
  • 2 tablespoons water (If you want to make it alcoholic, substitute water with Creme de cacao)

Directions

    Put the cream, butter and sugar in the top of a double boiler.

    Heat and stir until smooth.

    Beat in the chocolate until melted.

    Add water slowly and blend until it is smooth.

    Pour over ice cream and serve.
