  • 1 (10 1/2 oz.) can condensed mushroom soup, divided
  • 1 lb. ground beef
  • 1/3 c. dry bread crumbs
  • 1 egg, beaten
  • 1/4 c. finely chopped onion
  • 1 1/2 c. sliced fresh mushrooms

    Mix 1/4 cup soup with meat.

    Add crumbs, egg and onion.

    Shape into 6 patties.

    Brown patties.

    Remove patties from pan; pour off grease.

    Stir into pan remaining soup and mushrooms.

    Pour over meat in baking dish.

    Bake at 350°, covered, for about 35 minutes. Serve with rice or noodles.
