- 10 3/4 oz. can mushroom soup
- 1 1/2 lb. ground beef
- 1/2 c. dry bread or cracker crumbs
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/8 tsp. pepper
- 1 onion, finely chopped
- 1 egg, slightly beaten
- 1/3 c. water
Directions

1Heat oven to 350°.

2In medium bowl, combine 1/4 of the soup with remaining ingredients except water; mix well.

3Shape into six patties, arrange in a single layer in a 13 x 9-inch baking dish. Bake uncovered for 30 minutes.

4Skim off fat.

5Combine remaining soup and water.

6Spoon over patties.

7Return to oven; bake 10 minutes.
