- 2 lb. ground beef
- 1 egg, beaten
- 1 small chopped onion
- 6 crackers
- 1/4 c. milk
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1/2 tsp. pepper
Directions

1Soak crackers in milk.

2Mix all ingredients together.

3Shape into oblong patties and brown very slowly in skillet.

4After browning both sides, place in a baking dish.

5Make brown gravy from pan drippings and pour over steaks.

6Bake in 300° oven for 1 hour or until done.

7Serve with mashed potatoes or rice.
