- 3/4 c. milk
- 1/4 c. warm water
- 1 pkg. dry yeast
- 6 Tbsp. butter, softened
- 3 Tbsp. sugar
- 2 eggs
- 3 c. flour
- 1 1/4 tsp. salt
Directions

1Warm milk over medium heat in a small saucepan.

2Put warm water in small bowl.

3Stir in yeast and warm milk.

4Cream butter and sugar in large bowl.

5Add eggs and beat.

6Stir flour and salt together in another bowl.

7Stir 1 cup flour mixture into butter and sugar mixture.

8Then stir in about 1/3 of the yeast mixture. Continue to alternate flour and yeast.

9Beat the batter until smooth.

10Cover large mixing bowl and let the batter rise in a warm place for 1 hour.

11Remove the cover and stir batter quickly.
