Ingredients
- 1 (16 oz.) can salmon
- 1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese (at room temperature)
- 1 Tbsp. lemon juice
- 2 tsp. grated onion
- dash of salt
- 1/4 tsp. liquid smoke (optional)
- 1/3 c. finely chopped pecans
- 4 Tbsp. chopped parsley, chopped green onions or sliced green pepper (optional)

- sliced tomatoes (optional)
Directions

1Drain salmon and remove bones.

2Combine with the cream cheese, mashing together with a fork until blended.

3Stir in lemon juice, onion, salt and liquid smoke, if used; mix well.

4Add pecans and 1 tablespoon of the parsley until well combined.

5Transfer to serving dish.

6Chill to blend flavors.

7Sprinkle with the parsley or sliced green onions before serving, or shape into a 2-inch high loaf. Wrap tightly with foil and place in freezer up to 24 hours.
