Ingredients

  • 5 medium potatoes
  • 1 medium onion, diced
  • 1 can whole kernel corn, drained
  • 1 can butter beans, drained
  • 1 small can English peas, drained
  • 1 small can carrots, drained
  • 1 large (46 oz.) can tomato juice
  • 1c. ketchup
  • 1/4 stick margarine
  • 1 large can salmon, remove skin, bone and drain
  • salt, pepper and chili powder to taste

Directions

    Wash, peel and dice potatoes. Boil in large pot with potatoes fully immersed, but just covered in water. Add onion and margarine. Cook until these are tender, but not mushy.

    Add canned vegetables, ketchup and tomato juice.

    Bring to boil, stirring often for 10 minutes. Add salmon.
