- 2 tablespoons butter
- 1 leek, thinly sliced
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 garlic clove, minced
- 1/4 cup dry white wine
- 1 1/4 cups milk
- 2 tablespoons flour
- 1 (7 1/2 ounce) can salmon, drained and broken up
- 1 cup green peas
- 1 tablespoon chopped parsley
- 4 lemon wedges
Directions

1In medium saucepan, saute leek with butter and salt. Add garlic and cook for 20 seconds. Stir in wine and cook for 1 minute, until evaporated.

2In large measuring cup, whisk together milk and flour. Gradually add to leek, stirring. Bring to a simmer. Simmer 2 minutes, or until thickened.

3Stir in salmon and peas and season to taste with salt and pepper. Cook, stirring, for 5 minutes, or until heated through. Serve topped with parsley.
