- 8 lb. fresh tomatoes, stemmed and peeled
- 2 large green peppers, chopped
- 2 medium banana peppers, chopped
- 2 jalapeno peppers, chopped (optional)
- 1/2 large Spanish onion, chopped
- 2 tsp. salt
- 1 1/2 Tbsp. chili powder
- 3/4 tsp. cumin
- 1 Tbsp. fresh crushed garlic
- 6 oz. tomato paste
Directions

1Cook peppers and onion for 1/2 hour in nonstick frypan.

2In a large kettle, add everything and simmer until thickened (several hours).

3Salsa can be frozen or processed.
