  • 1 (28 oz.) can whole tomatoes
  • 1 can Ro-Tel tomatoes
  • 1/2 c. (or more) sliced jalapenos
  • 1 Tbsp. chili powder
  • 1 tsp. or more crushed red peppers
  • pinch of garlic powder or minced garlic
  • 1 Tbsp. sugar
  • 2 bunches green onions

Directions

    Drain juice from whole tomatoes into blender or food processor. Put in peppers, chili powder, crushed red peppers and garlic powder.

    Use stir button, then put the tomatoes and Ro-Tel tomatoes in and hit stir button again, 5 to 10 seconds.

    Try not to mix too much.

    Your own taste will decide the amount of spices and peppers. The salsa tastes better if it's chunkier, so watch the blending time.
