Salsa Bean Salad

  • 2 (15 oz.) cans black beans
  • 1 (15 oz.) can red kidney beans
  • 1 (15 oz.) can garbanzo beans
  • 1/2 c. chopped onion
  • 1 large green pepper in strips
  • 3/4 c. salsa
  • 1/2 c. nonfat Italian dressing
  • 1 Tbsp. sugar
  • 1/4 tsp. salt
  • 1 large chopped tomato

Directions

    Rinse and drain all beans.

    Combine all beans, onions and green peppers in large bowl.

    Combine salsa, salad dressing and salt. Add to bean mixture.

    Stir lightly and chill.

    Cover 4 to 24 hours, stirring often.

    Stir in tomato just before serving.

    Serves 10 to 12 people.
