Salsa Bean Salad

  • 2 (15 oz.) cans black beans
  • 1 (15 oz.) can kidney beans
  • 1 (15 oz.) can garbanzo beans
  • 1/2 c. chopped onion
  • 1 large green pepper, sliced in thin strips
  • 3/4 c. medium or hot salsa
  • 1/2 c. nonfat Italian dressing
  • 1 Tbsp. sugar
  • 1/4 tsp. salt
  • 1 large tomato, chopped

    Rinse and drain all beans.

    Combine beans, onion and pepper in large bowl.

    In small bowl combine salsa, Italian dressing, sugar and salt.

    Add to bean mixture.

    Chill for several hours.

    Stir in chopped tomato before serving.
