Ingredients

  • 1/2 lb. peppers, cook until done
  • 1 medium onion, cook until done
  • 2 small tomatoes
  • 1 can no salt tomatoes
  • garlic to taste
  • 1/4 to 1/2 bunch cilantro
  • salt to taste
  • 1 medium onion
  • 3/4 c. fresh cilantro
  • 1 c. water
  • 3 Tbsp. canola oil
  • 4 cloves garlic
  • 1 lb. tomatillos
  • salt to taste
  • jalapeno peppers

Directions

    Saute onion and garlic in oil.

    Add tomatillos, cilantro, water, salt and peppers to your taste.

    (If you prefer a milder pepper, use it.)

    Simmer until thick (approximately 30 minutes). Store in refrigerator or freezer.

    To process in jars, follow directions in your pressure cooker or canning booklets.
