- 3 tomatillo
- 1 Serrano pepper
- 1 cup yellow onion, chopped
- 1 tbsp garlic, minced
- 1/2 cup green bell pepper, chopped
- 1/2 cup cilantro, packed
- 2 tsp olive oil, extra virgin
- 1 tsp ground cumin
- 1/4 tsp ground black pepper
- 1/2 lime, juice
- 1/3 cup water
Directions

1Preheat oven to broil.

2Place tomatillos and serrano pepper on a baking sheet and broil in the oven 5 inches below broil coils for 5 minutes on each side; until the tomatillos and serrano pepper blisters and blacken.

3In a high power blender add below ingredients and blend on high until the texture is a puree.

4You should have roughly 2 cups of Salsa Verde when done, and serve!
