  • 1 tablespoon cooking oil
  • 1 medium chopped onion
  • 1 teaspoon ginger
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon curry powder
  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 34 cup cooked peas
  • egg roll wrap
  • fat (for deep frying)

Directions

    Put oil and onion into fry pan.

    Fry until browned.

    Add ginger, garlic powder, and curry powder.

    Cook and stir about 2 minutes.

    Add ground beef and scramble-fry.

    Stir in peas.

    Allow to cool.

    Cut egg roll wrappers diagonally into 4 triangles.

    Put about 1 tbsp, or less of mixture in center.

    Moisten edges with water.

    fold over and press to seal.

    Fry in 375F fat until golden brown, turning once.

    To reheat place on baking sheet in 350F oven for 10 to 15 minutes or until hot.

    Note: wonton shins can be used.

    Note: May be baked in 450F oven for about 10 minutes.

    They don't get bubbly-brown in the oven as when deep fried.
