  • 1/2 c. butter (room temperature)
  • 2 Tbsp. sugar
  • 1 c. flour, sifted before measuring
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 1 c. finely chopped pecans

Directions

    Cream butter.

    Add sugar and vanilla.

    Stir in flour.

    Add pecans after ingredients are mixed well.

    Roll dough into small balls; bake on greased cookie sheet at 325° for 25 minutes.

    Roll hot cookies in powdered sugar.

    Makes 3 to 4 dozen.
