- 1 c. butter or margarine
- 1/3 c. sugar
- 2 tsp. water
- 2 tsp. vanilla
- 2 c. flour
- 2 c. chopped pecans
Directions

1Cream the butter and sugar.

2Add water and vanilla.

3Mix well. Add flour and pecans.

4Chill 3 or 4 hours.

5Shape into balls or fingers.

6Bake on greased cookie sheet in slow oven (325°) about 20 minutes.

7Cool slightly and roll in powdered sugar.

8Makes about 5 dozen.
