Ingredients

  • 2 pounds Ground Beef
  • 1- 1/2 cup Uncooked Pasta Pieces
  • 1 whole Egg
  • 1/2 cups Onion, Chopped
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 1/2 teaspoons Pepper
  • 64 ounces, fluid Tomato Juice
  • 1/2 cups Brown Sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoons Cinnamon
  • 1/2 teaspoons Nutmeg

Directions

    Mix beef, noodles, egg, onion, salt and pepper.

    Form into balls.

    In a deep pan combine tomato juice, brown sugar, cinnamon and nutmeg.

    Bring sauce to a simmer.

    Add enough meatballs to cove the bottom of the pan.

    Simmer 30 minutes.

    Flip meatballs over.

    Simmer 30 more minutes.

    Can be served as an appetizer (make meatballs smaller) or as a main dish over rice (make meatballs larger).
