- 1 c. white vinegar
- 1 large onion, chopped
- 1 unpeeled lemon, sliced

- 6 whole peppercorns
- 2 Tbsp. sugar
- salt to taste
Directions

1Mix last 9 ingredients together and marinate meat for 24 to 36 hours.

2Strain marinade and put 1 cup over meat; cook in crock-pot until done.

3Remove meat and put 12 crushed gingersnaps into the broth to make gravy (use small gingersnaps).
