- 2 (15 oz.) cans kidney beans, undrained
- 2 medium onions, chopped
- 1/2 c. chopped green pepper
- 1/2 Tbsp. salt
- 4 c. water
- 2 (1 lb.) cans whole tomatoes, undrained and chopped
- 2 or 3 potatoes, cubed
- 1 large bay leaf
- 1/2 Tbsp. dried whole thyme
- 1/4 tsp. pepper
Directions

1Brown the sausage, stirring to crumble and drain.
