  • 3 c. brown sugar
  • 1 c. hot coffee
  • 1 tsp. nutmeg
  • 3 c. flour
  • 1 2/3 c. English walnuts
  • 1 lb. pork sausage
  • 1 tsp. soda
  • 1 tsp. cinnamon
  • 1 (1 lb.) box raisins
  • 3 apples, grated

Directions

    Combine sugar, sausage and hot coffee.

    Take a little hot coffee out and dissolve soda.

    Combine all dry ingredients; mix well.

    Bake at 275° to 300° for 1 hour or until done.

    May be stored as a fruit cake.
