Ingredients
- 6 to 8 slices bread
- 1 lb. sausage
- 1/2 c. shredded sharp Cheddar cheese
- 1/2 c. shredded Swiss cheese
- 1/2 tsp. pepper
- salt
- 3/4 c. half and half
- 1 1/4 c. milk
- 5 eggs, beaten
- 1 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
- 1 tsp. mustard
- 1 (4 oz.) can mushrooms, chopped and drained
Directions

1Grease 9 x 13-inch pan.

2Remove crusts from bread and cube. Line bottom of pan with cubes.

3Cook sausage and drain.

4Sprinkle over bread.

5Cover with cheeses and mushrooms.

6Combine cream, milk and eggs.

7Add seasonings and pour over other ingredients. Cover and refrigerate overnight.

8Bake, covered, for 1 hour. Serves 8.
