Sausage Casserole

- 1 lb. pork sausage
- 1 large onion, finely chopped
- 1 can cream of mushroom soup
- 1 can Carnation or Pet evaporated milk
- 1/2 c. water from cooked noodles
- 1 (12 oz.) pkg. noodles (egg or bow tie)
- Pepperidge Farm herb stuffing
Directions

1Brown sausage, keeping it finely crumbled.

2Add onion and saute until onions are tender; remove from heat.

3Cook noodles according to package directions; drain, reserving 1/2 cup water. Mix soups, reserved water and milk, beating well, and heat until warm.

4Combine noodles, liquids and sausage and onion mixture; pour into a buttered casserole dish.

5Top with stuffing and bake at 350° for 20 minutes or until it bubbles.

6This recipe freezes well.
