- 1 lb. pork sausage
- 1 large onion, chopped
- 2 eggs, lightly beaten
- 1 1/2 c. self-rising corn meal
- 1 (17 oz.) can cream-style corn
- 3/4 c. milk
- 1/4 c. vegetable oil
- 2 c. grated Cheddar cheese
Directions

1Brown sausage and onion in medium skillet.

2Drain.

3Combine eggs, cornmeal, corn, milk and oil in a bowl.

4Pour 1/2 of cornmeal mixture into a greased 2-quart baking dish.

5Sprinkle with sausage mixture and cheese.

6Pour remaining cornmeal mixture over top.

7Bake at 425° for 30 to 40 minutes.
