Sausage Cornbread Squares

  • 1 (12 oz.) pkg. corn muffin mix
  • 1/2 c. milk
  • 1 egg
  • 3 Tbsp. mustard
  • 1 (7 oz.) can Mexicorn, drained
  • 1/2 lb. smoked Polish sausage, cut into 16 slices

Directions

    Prepare muffin mix according to package directions, except using the egg, milk and mustard.

    Mix until moistened.

    Stir in corn and spoon into greased 9-inch pan.

    Place sausage 1 inch apart on top of mixture and bake at 400° for 25 to 30 minutes or until done.
