  • 1 1/2 c. sugar
  • 1 c. cooking oil
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 can fruit cocktail
  • 3 c. plain flour
  • 2 tsp. baking soda
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1/4 c. brown sugar
  • 1/4 c. coconut
  • 1/4 c. chopped nuts

Directions

    Mix sugar, oil, eggs, flour, soda, salt and juice of fruit cocktail. Beat well. Fold in fruit. Pour into three 8-inch round pans. Mix brown sugar, coconut and 1/4 cup chopped nuts. Sprinkle on top. Bake at 350° for 25 to 30 minutes.
