Sausage Pie

Ingredients

  • 1 lb Italian sausage
  • 4 eggs, beaten
  • 1 egg yolk
  • 1 lb mozzarella cheese, grated
  • 12 cup parmesan cheese
  • 1 (4 1/2 ounce) can mushrooms
  • 1 (16 ounce) package frozen spinach or 1 (16 ounce) package broccoli
  • 1 lb pizza dough

Directions

    Cook and drain spinach or broccoli.

    Brown sausage and drain off fat.

    Mix beaten eggs, mozzarella, parmesan, mushrooms and spinach or broccoli and sausage in large bowl.

    Use 1/2 of the dough and cover 10 inch pie plate.

    Pour entire mixture into plate and press down on mixture to fit it all inches.

    Cover with the rest of the dough.

    Brush beaten egg yoke on top of the pie.

    Cut small slit in center of pie.

    Bake at 350 for 45 to 55 minutes.
