- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 cup chopped onion
- 12 lb of crumbled hot Italian sausage, skin removed
- 8 ounces sliced mushrooms
- 1 12 cups arborio rice
- 12 cup white wine
- 1 (14 1/2 ounce) can beef broth
- 1 (16 ounce) jar marinara sauce
- 2 cups water
- 1 cup frozen peas
- 14 teaspoon salt
- 14 teaspoon pepper
- 1 cup shredded parmesan cheese
- 14 shredded fresh basil
Directions

1Heat 2 tablespoons olive oil.

2Add chopped onion , sausage and mushrooms.

3Saute 6 minutes.

4Add Aborio rice; cooke one minute.

5Add white wine and cook 1 minute.

6Add beef broth, 1 jar of marinara sauce, 2 cups of water, peas and salt and pepper.

7Bring to a simmer.

8Cover; bake at 350 for 20 minutes.

9To serve, stir in parmesan cheese and basil.
